DEX L10 Finally facing the long arm of the law!

After years of testing this product we are exstatic to see that they are finally being sued for having no Hoodia in their products. "SANTA CRUZ - District Attorney Bob Lee today joined colleagues from several other counties in a lawsuit against three companies who allegedly make false claims that their diet supplements contain extract from the African Hoodia plant, the Santa Cruz County District Attorney's Office announced. Hoodia Gordonii became well-known after being featured in 2004 on the national CBS television show 60 Minutes, which showed its use by San tribesman in the Kalahari Desert who used it for appetite suppression on long journeys, according to a statement by Santa Cruz prosecutor Kelly Walker. Due in part to that publicity, several companies began marketing the extract in several forms, as a weight loss aid. But the lawsuit, to be filed in Solano County, states that Delmar Labs, Breakthrough Engineered Nutrition and Geopharma produce products with packaging and advertising which claim to contain Hoodia Gordonii when they contain little or none of it, Walker stated."

Hoodoba, the full story

The saga started with one of our reviewers browsing the internet and coming across a CITES certificate and a suggestion to check out a website for addition to our hall of pride. They seemed to have legitimate reports and we wanted to verify this fact. It turned out all documentation was fraudulently altered and it would appear that they even altered a official goverment document, a CITES certificate.

The conlucion was that all the documents displayed on the website www.hoodoba.com are FAKE, they have been altered to fool the consumer into buying their product without any substantiation from real documentation!

View the original altered CITES from Hoodoba website. Look at the issued date and valid untill date. These have been circled red for the ease of the viewer.

Real CITES
Hoodoba CITES = Fraud
Authentic Example of real CITES
NOTE TO READERS: CITES issued and valid untill dates are only pertaining to the export and re-export of Hoodia. Obviously Hoodoba did not know this else they would have left the CITES in tact and would have avoided such an obvious mistake. Valid Untill is obviously after or later than date issued, so they really messed up in an obvious way.

The worst is that they, Hoodoba on their website state that if they dont have an Alkemists Certificate its not real, see the image from Hoodoba website below!

The original emails can be viewed by clicking the following link.
Email from Alkemists Pharmaceuticals responding to our email regarding the validity of the lab reports displayed in the Hoodoba product.

Breakdown Emails and the fraud in question.

3 Certificates of analysis are used to portray validity of a Hoodia gordonii product. Namely: HPLC, HPTLC and Digital Microscopy. The dates on these have been altered to display as if the tests were done recently. One can only assume this was done because they no longer have real Hoodia in their products. This has not been proven as no independent tests have been conducted on the product in question up to date. The only thing we can report is the highly suspisious unlawfull tampering of legal documents. This is fraud and we at Hoodiagordonii are wondering why heads arn't flying.
